IWR started at 1999 as Maor Appelbaum's namless E.B.M project with the vision and the song "Victimized" recorded on a home cassette recorder.
2000 – Maor and Tal got together at Maor's house for a discussion about Maor's music and the possibility of Maor producing Tal's progressive band Koza Nostra. A few weeks later they met again at a party at the Azimuth club in Tel Aviv. Tal being too drunk and to recognize Maor started talking with Maor about Maor…and telling him that he should meet Maor (as you can see – Tal has been drinking like overkill –not knowing he is talking to Maor all the time). During the conversation the idea of taking Maor's EBM project to a more serious level came up.
The duo started working soon afterwards and recorded two songs.
"Pulse" – which was never released but small parts of it are featured in the song "My Ruin (Bed of Nails)". And featured the angelic backround voices of maor ex –girlfriend (at that time) "jasmine vodonos". And the edition of Oz_vult (Oz michaeli of the industrial band "VULTURES") "Victimized" – Who was the first song to be released to a few compilations world wide.

2001- IWR released a 4 track demo with the songs – Victimized, Dreamers Delight, Pulsar and Access Denied.

2001 - IWR features in a compilation by Black Rain label "Storesquenz" with the song "Victimized".

2002-2005 IWR features in several compilations world wide including "Elektrauma vol 6." And "futronik structures vol 4."

2006 - Signs with label Black Rain on album "Ground Zero". "Ground Zero" is released on the 11.9.2006.

"Ground Zero" includes 10 tracks and a bonus CD with remixes from Industrial and E.B.M bands world wide.

Tom Davidov also remixed the songs "Carnivore", "Access Denied", "Pulsar" and "Dreamers Delight" on the remix CD.

July 2006 – A video clip is made for the song "Dreamers Delight". Produced by Kuner and Lalenya. The clip main theme is along gothic lines. The clip also featured in an Artwork exhibition in Ben Gurion airport in Israel.

2007 – IWR track "Carnivore" is released on Black Rain promo compilation.

Currently IWR is working on the 2nd album with drum loops by Tom Davidov.
